Corndolly, Laden again!!

I just got to the Library to post this on this grey cold rainy afternoon. Rained out from the concrete pour with the New/Old company,Construction resources, ( I finally bit the bullet and got back to the timecard slog for the winter,) So instead, I put door sweeps,(the ones that came with the doors were inadequate,) on the new security doors that i'd installed a month ago for a little local hobby shop called "The Treasure Chest" ...

I've just spent a lovely weekend with my lady Aethericaetheric well needed time for JUST the 2 of us to be together Uninterrupted...<<WOLFISH GRIN>> The last two visits were melancholy at the end, putting the taint of confusion and misunderstanding on what were, for the most part, two at least good, but too short visits...

This one was unblemished but for the surreal feeling whilst parting...

My time here is up.... ***I LOVE YOU LAURA DOLLOFF!!! or whatEVER your name really is...***

SAY UNCLE!!!
Hullo Ev'rybody!

I JUST got the News Tues. that my sister Rebecca and brother-in-law(Bestest ever,)John, are....

PREGNANT!!! She's 7 weeks along... Boy?, Girl? Who CARES!! I'm gonna be an Uncle!!
I've ever started to Knit a little Pirate cap for whomever shows up....

And YES, I've successfully lost my camera, so all these Great photo-ops,(Like, THOUSANDS,) are missing from my lost TIME-Stop device...
I swear, it's like having my third eye cut out!!

just got back from the "Wyld Magick" festival last sunday with Aethyric and the E-Marm... Time never quite seems to stop for long enough down at Lothlorien Nature Sanctuary ...

Sat and learned the "Manly art of Knitting" (Got the book from a good friend,) with a master knitter from chi-town..Natalia. She and her Husband, Scott, have created a little baby named Victor...and she showed me a few good tips for a noob like me'self whilst knittin' up a storm...

Gods and Goddesses!! I wish i could find my Camera!! I Wonder if SnowTiger got some good fest pics...

Well, my time at the library is almost up... my thumbdrive won't work on the library compy, so even the paltry few stolen photons out o' time that i had can't be shown here... Next post Mebbe'

Amo et Lux...
~S~

P.s. to all you knitters... I've noticed a strange phenomenon--- I've had help from 4-5 really good knitting ladies, and the funny thing is, each one takes the work ,or even method, that the previous one had shown me and said..: "Oh no, here hon', you're doing it wrong... Let me show you.."
Now, ALL of the ladys were in my estimation VERY good Knitters... just kinda funny..(Nat didn't though, since she was the first..)
Settling in for the Work ahead...

Well, yoshi and i have been extraordinarily busy the last 3 weeks. I'm moved in and finally have gotten every last thing positioned in place where yoshi feels comfortable with it... Recently received a gift from a good friend Alison; a book called"The Manly Art of Knitting"-- The cover is hilarious. It looks like the Marlboro man on horseback with a pair of #10 knitting needles... I don't currently have Online service at the house, so i'll have to come to the library with the pictures on a thumb-drive...

Anna is the wonderful 84 year old lady who is my landlord, and i have a feeling that my winter may be spent hanging out with her, Knitting by the fireside...Mebbe'...

I've only got 3 min. left on the MPCL compy so this will have to do for now...

I promise though, More soon((Who has the time???))

Out of the Old & into the New...

So, Well... I've gotten all the accumulated flotsam and jetsom from the old house E-X-P-L-O-S-I-O-N... Wore us OUT! so much so, that this is all i'm gonna write..for now...

Settling in.. Cats ARE indeed getting along for once... I think from Yoshi's standpoint; It's because It's a Bigger, new house, and she is relieved that the only other cat is Po And Po... Well,Po just doesn't care as long as she's left alone...
Amazed at the new possibilities for space and building... and have a GORGEOUS grove-- or I suppose you would more properly call it a copse with a HUGE limestone grill... Pictures sooooooon.

AMO & LVX
~S~

<<HACKED by pj the F-LESS>>Well, johnny comes marching home again, hoorah, hoorah. People ask me all the time whether or not its possible to get pregnant without having intercourse. and i usually say, well. you gotta go all the way back to the Civil war. it seems that there was a young soldier fighting for the North. He was shot in the groin, and the bullet lodged itself in the womb of a young woman who was standing abnh...<<HACKED BY pj the F-less>>

First post... ...I seem to ALWAYS get around to these things late.

Hmmm. What can i say?.. Yesterday's Yonic propulsion day was EXCEPTIONAL!!

First thing on my birthday, as the sun was just biginning to crest the trees, Laura and i walked past the house I've been building with Victor(nextdoor,) and the house next to that was the crash pad of at least 20 bats, coming home from the night's feed. Then walked over to the house that I will be living in at the end of July-- Watched the sun Almost all the way above the trees, Then decided to take a cue from our batty friends and walk back up the street for to get into bed...

We took about a 5-6 hour respite from the world of the waking,(We had been up until morning from the night before, to be fair,)
Then Awoke refreshed if not somewhat hurried,("La-aura, i don't see why we have to get there so early??isn't that the point of 5-10 min. early, to NOT be Hurried?")And settled in amongst the bingo diehards...
Laura and i hit Sunday bingo at the American Legion for the 2'0clock early bird games,(Seems they Really mix it up on Sundays:Crazy ,Miami-styleboardpatterns,EtC.)

They have TWO early bird "packs", rather than the; One early bird, then straight into the standard bingo packet that Tuesday night offers. That has been the night when Laura and I have gone in the past, But, this was Birthday bingo, It was a hot Sunday Afternoon and we were both feelin' LUCKY! I'll spare you the play by play, But I won a$75 early bird game, Then Laura went on to Nail a $222 pull tab, and then Nailed a winner take all board with only one other player!! (these things almost ALWAYS have 2-5 people yelling bingo, and when that happens, a $100 game can quickly become a $33 game...,) the prize in that particular one was something like $578.00 or something.. Her haul for the day: bigger i think than I've ever pulled at Bingo EVER! She was so high on Adrenalin that when we got home, She immediately crashed-- I think it was just too much excitement for her, Those bingo Ole' Ladies are AGGRO!!

From there, Ummm... I can't quite remember--- OH YEAH! we went shopping for dinner stuff... I made a FULL crock pot of Italian beef from a recipe that came from one of Laura's co-workers; it simmered ALL night until this morning-- this is just the bomb comfort meat food if placed on a lightly toasted bun and with melty/bubbly/browning smoked Provolone or Mozz. A crock can last for a week easily if refrigerated, ...frozen? IDK it's never lasted that long NOM NOM NOM NOM!

Last official act of the knight, was to save a GEN-u-wine Damsel in distress!! Renee had cut a corner with her tire just alittle too close, and it was flat at a gas station... we went out there, with Laura's 3-ton floor jack, raised up the tire and---
Oh, no! the rim has some how fused to the hub bolts!! Well, not really, they were RELLY RELLY RELLY stuck on there though, No hammer so i pulled out the cooper's axe that i keep in my trunk for camping at the nature sanctuary, (and zombie attacks,) and it only took one good perilous and precarious whack from behind,(with the back of the Axe,)and i had the old tire off and the crappy little doughnut tire on in no time... Funny thing though, Renee wasn't even aware that it came equipped with a scissorjack in the trunk's side panel... anyway, We were heroes and could go home to e-tire mit cake and breyers ...

It was a good birthday full of compromise, I believe it made many other people happy that day, and it was meaningful...
Whew- i'm outta steam... Gotta stop and mebbe figure out how to attach video...
~S~
